"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Did I handle the flake correctly or too harsh?

So, I have a plate that I have been seeing for about 4 months. We've banged like 8-10x and don't meet that often, maybe every 2 weeks. She's just someone im dating, NOT LTR material.

Yesterday (friday), I set plans with her for tonight - she mentioned yesterday that she will be working, and i basically told her that if she is unsure, we should reschedule. She insisted that we meet.

Then today, no word from her. Now, im not one to chase a plate and keep confirming whether we are still on or not. So, I text her an hour before we were supp to meet and below is our convo

Me - Are you at work? If so, meet me at XYZ at 8:30 and we'll go from there.
She - I am. Can't commit to a meeting time. Can i take a rain check? Im free anyday this week.
Me - And when were u planning to let me know that you were canceling?
She - I thought i would get out by now & was totally into this presentation im working on. I spaced. Im sorry.
She - pls dont get annoyed. Im swamped & didnt do it on purpose.

I didn't respond to that.

Now, it's not the flaking that im p*ssed about - don't care if you dont wanna hang, and i dont care if you have some other dude on the side that u prefer to meet instead...OR if you're really at work. But i was p*ssed because it's Sat night, ive canceled other plans and more importantly, the "princess" thinks that she can be inconsiderate about someone else's time and just justify to herself that her actions are vindicated because she is "so busy".

do you think i'm acting harshly? and what to do if she calls me later tonight or plays mind games by accusing ME of being immature / not understanding?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

No more keyboard jockeying . Action is the place.
Now you have control here, you didn't respond after she asked if you were annoyed. Text her at a later date and set up another meeting date. Act as if the first flake didn't happen and if she flakes again then forget her. Maybe she actually was doing work ...people do have jobs lol

Yeah man, not harsh at all.
You handled this perfectly.
I've had the same thing happen to me before and I always act similar.
Not only will it make her be more careful around you (in the sense that she now knows your time is valuable) it will also improve her as a person character wise.
It seems like in todays world the value of someones word, giving your word that you're going to do something isn't as sacred as it was in the past.

Fvck what she thinks. You don't just forget a planned date. Would she forget an interview?

I wouldn't even text her to set something up again.. I'd let her do the next text to set it up.. Unless you have no other plates and you are in need of a lay.

She is a jumpoff. (NO LTR Material that your smashing)

Why are you taking this girl out at all??? There is no damn point in taking a jumpoff out in public unless she is paying for you.
