You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Matt Rogers said:Ive been chatting online recently to this girl. She is in her late 20s like me. She is really successful in her career, already a manager. She seems to have an active social life with lots of friends and in her words "doesn't need a man".
She complained that men tend to be either too controlling and pushy, or too clingy and needy, and in general she is disappointed with men.
She is very witty and we banter a lot when we talk and she is always has a sharp comeback.
She made the comment that I seem a lot more emotional than her, and her friends say she has a heart of stone.
Oh and she is really hot.
Im meeting her tomorrow but Im not really sure what to make of her. I get the impression a lot of this is a front and probably she has just been hurt in the past. But while chatting to her online it was hard to get past the verbal swordplay and actually connect on any level.
was thinking the same thing lolRollo Tomassi said:Ooooh, a 'manager'? Hot damn, she IS tough and independent!
You can skip the expensive cars, the fancy clothes, and the endless gym selfies. Completely unnecessary.
I used to freeze the second a beautiful woman looked my way. Frustrated. Awkward. Watching other guys walk away with the girl while I stood there tongue-tied.
Then I discovered 22 simple rules that rewired my entire dating life. The anxiety vanished. Conversations flowed effortlessly. Women started chasing me for a change.
These rules trigger a woman's subconscious attraction switches. And you can start using them tonight.
Your already all kinds of fcucked up! Eject son, EJECT!!!Matt Rogers said:Ive been chatting online recently to this girl.........and in her words "doesn't need a man"
Ha ha ha ha !Nutz said:"She had done a runner"
What's that mean? Did she stop some guy that was running along the road and have sex with him in the bushes?
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Ah, learn something new every day.jophil28 said:Ha ha ha ha !
NUTZ, Scaramouche speaks West Coast Australian.
He means "she split" .
Amazing how "tough and independent" means jack sh!t to a man when he isn't attracted to a woman. I'm shocked.Matt Rogers said:Yeah I guess I was being a bit sexist being impressed she is a project manager.
I met her last night. She was very different from her online persona. Very quiet. Not at all argumentative or sarcastic. She seemed very nervous if anything. I had to ask a lot of questions to get her talking. Very closed body language.
She wasn't as good looking as her photos suggested. I wasn't that attracted to her.
