As i said earlier it’s a proven fact testosterone production declines the older we get and the examples of 70-80yos having high testosterone is just a rare example . It always depends on your genetics .TRT to me is an easy way out but certainly nothing wrong with it if you can afford it, want fast results, and look the best you can with minimal effort.
For me personally, I prefer to try to maintain/boost my testosterone naturally through nutrition and exercise specifically targeted for older 40+ yo guys. I do believe though that you definitely should take supplements/vitamins after 40 as it's nearly impossible to feel energized, alert, etc. all naturally.
Went through a bunch of various supplements and currently, I'm trying to stay simple and minimal as possible. Rainbow multivitamin, Vitamin D, ZMA seems to do it for me. Earlier I was on D-Aspartic acid and it really helped me personally but I still feel good after I stopped using it for a few months. YMMV. I may start using it again if I feel slugglish or feel my testosterone is going down. In addition, D-Aspartic acid basically stopped any additional hair from falling out. I used to get quite a few hairs in the tub when I took a shower. After I took that, no more hair falls out.
Other than that TRT is prescribed by a Doctor only if you need to keep your testosterone levels back to normal if you already have an issue . Also it’s not something expensive. Last time i checked medical testosterone was 10 € per 250 mg , and you need around 100 mg every week to have more than high testosterone than you would naturally produce . People spend 10 times more for other stupid things .
