You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Races do not exist, there is the human race and within the human race you have different ethnicities.

I agree with Amante, there could be some cultural difference wich could lead to a different behavior but besides that its just a color not a total different specie...

I dont think there would be any problem in dating people outside your ethnicity,the problems could rise when there are different cultures.
A middle eastern man wont feel good with an american woman because he expect her to cook while she expect him to help not,because they have a different skin color.

Oh please. Replace the word race with 'culture' and the question becomes less racist / stupid and almost somewhat valid.

Different cultures have different rituals and practices. They have different foods and behavioural norms and values. It's not always going to be the case but you'll run into it eventually.

Frankly it's not an issue. I always say 'you are dating the girl, not her [parents/culture/brothers/friends]'
