Collosus....you are right on. You can't fix them. My wife and I are always moving forward with our relationship. It hurts me to know what she endured, but I have just listened to her history as she has related it to me. I never tried to be her therapist. Only her husband. She appreciates that about me. I am glad she doesnt talk about it all the time. That would create some real problems. Sometime I would like to tell you what happened to her so you can see where I am coming from and explain how I have dealt with it. I am quite sure there are many men on here who have been, and are, in a relationship with a woman with a similar history. I am sorry for the 2.5 LTR that caused you so much pain. No rain, no rainbows.........

You may be surprised to know that sexual abuse is usually not about sex. It is more about power and control. People who sexually abuse others are often insecure.

You may need all info about this issue while dealing with this girl. It will take a lot of your time and effort. Is it worth it? What will she bring to you? Or is it all about her?
