Cutting text threads and re-engaging several days later?

We all know the case: We set up a date or are in the midst of setting up a date but the girl wishes to continue text chit chat. Some of you may enjoy this, I personally don't. So what do I do?

I engage in a few text exchanges, then send out: "Let's catch up later in the week on the phone. Enjoy rest of your evening". Several days later, send a phone call, have a short conversation 15 minutes, build rapport and tell her you're going to text several days afterwards.

Rinse and repeat. I find this method effective at maintaining interests before you have a chance to schedule dates. (I travel frequently for work and so I can't always meet a new plate within the same week).

Anyone else agree or have similar experience? Any critics or suggestions?

I use a similar "get with the program" method. BUT I do it after I had already slept with them twice. I learned that women will sleep with you really fast if you make them feel like you're gonna stick around after (even if you don't).


As for the op

The trick that I use to get around all of this is to set up dates on the same day I ask them or the next.
I learn their schedule and when I KNOW they're free I just tell them I wanna see them for like five minutes.

Charm trumps 'get with the program bit*h' yeah.

The whole my bit*h/my ho thing is personally a turn off for me and women who seem to have some value but I'm sure it works fine on hood rats and the like.

Bit of both for me. They all seem to expect a few texts at least nowadays in the age of entitlement. Not best part of my games so try keep it minimal.

But it's no guarantee. I remember this cute market stall holder I got a number for. We texted and there was a phone call and it was just a daytime coffee. I was a bit keener than usual because she was a green eyed Persian girl and I haven't had one of those. Then she flakes and she sends me this wall of text excuse about how it was telling that we didn't spend the week getting to know each. So obviously a huge PITA thank god I didn't waste more of my week getting to know her.
