Cramps, what's the solution

Everyday, I get cramps in the weirdest places on my body.

My calves, below my abs, my back, even my forearm cramps...

Some call it locking... It sure feels like it, I have to stretch out like a cat to get them to even begin to stop my muscle from overflexing.

Do you guys think it's my muscle slipping from it's normal position? Could it be a form of tetanus(lockjaw)?

This is pissing me off...

My ex co-workers told me it's because I drink WAYYY too mcuh coffee. I drink STRONG coffee, about 20-25 cups a day!

Your caffeine intake sounds ridiculous, but I don't know if that's related. I hear charlie horses have something to do with insufficient vitamins.

A coffee intake like that is absurd. But whatever; your funeral.

You need more water and sodium in your diet. Water; not coffee, cordial or juice. Water straight from the tap.

Coffee is a diuretic, so no surprises you're dehydrated. Get water, and some electrolyte supplements/powder. Not gatorade or other commercial crap - get a low sugar alternative. I recommend Endura.

That'll sort your cramps if you ease up on coffee.

Thanks manuva n Griffith. I drink coffee and alcohol like a devil, and I pi$s like one too. I'll see what I can do about cutting it out over the weekend and slowing down for today.

Why thank you Mr reality, I probably do sit down to much each day. I work on a damned computer, I want a treadmill.

I workout everyday, either cardio, or weight training.

It's my diet:) Not my posting habits.

Jeeeezus! thats alot of coffee, do you have problems sleeping at night?

Ingestion of 150mg/kg of caffeine seems to be the LD_50 (50% of people die at that dose). If your about 65 kgs and drink 25 cups of very strong coffe (300-350mg per cup) that would put you well within the danger zone.

Why do you even bother asking us whats wrong with you? you already know, so is it some kind of rhetorical, attention seeking post like you always seem to let out, or is this whole thing a fabrication?

btw, Regular use of upwards of 350 mg of caffeine a day causes physical dependence on the drug so if you want to save your arse your going to go through a rough withdrawl.
