Costume party

Guys,
I've got a theme party in a couple of days and i need some ideas for what to dress up as. You are required to dress up as "when i grow up i want to be" ... can't be doctors or dentists cos thats what we will be.

Ideas are things like construction workers, pimps, h. heffner, fireman etc.

I have very little in the way of costumes- can't do stuff like policeman or plumber. I want to do something simple and easy- so that after the event i can go out to a club or whatever in the clothes i am wearing.

I was thinking something like james bond, or zorro... a formal attire, black outfit... or suit... with something easy like a mask , bandana etc.

Need something that will also be effective.

I second this idea. You can find a crappy old Sherlock Holmes style brown patterned jacket at an op-shop for cheap. Bring a cane and tap girls on the arse with it! Oh and say you're from Essex or Sussex or one of those.

My sister always raves excitedly about guys who dressed up at parties like this. According to her all the girls love it.

Dress as a fireman and when the ladys ask you if you can put out their fire tell them " sure if you will let me use my hose" - Works every time!

You should dress up like a thug. Wear a bandana, chain, beater, bubble vest, boots, wicked big sweatpants and pull one leg up. First of all its really comfortable, and its pretty funny. I did it for a party one time and i was rockin out with my cack out later. And I'm a 5'9 165 lb white guy and pulled this off. Do it.

I've decided to go as A.powers. Do a search in the forums [costume party, halloween, etc] to read up why this outfit is gonna rock for me.

I've got the whole outfit...Ill let u know how it goes.
