"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

So I met this 24 years old chick on FB. I send her a wink, she send one back, I messaged her, she replied...etc.
After we talked for a while I suggested to go for a coffee to meet her in person sometime.
She agreed but told me that "she was going on holidays next week, so she did not have much time". I said fine.

The next day she messaged me to ask me how I was, and to tell me if I wanted to meet her that night. She sent this at 20:00, I read her message at 22:00, but I was going to a party out of town so I told her that and she replied at 01:00 that it was a pity.

Anyway, the next day I message her, we talk for a bit and I tell her to go have a drink sometime this week. She is wishy-washy and says:

her: "I dont have much time now, why dont we meet after I come back from my holidays (two weeks)"
me: "Im not sure about that. We can meet sometime this week, or if you dont feel like it, we just go different ways, no problem"
her: "ok, we can meet tomorrow"
me: "alright"

Then she wanted me to send her pics of myself, cause she said that I only have two public pictures on fb without any filters etc.
I tell her the same, so she sends me one pic, and I send her two pics.
She tests me a bit and says that I look normal, kind of cute, but average.
I say to her thanks for keeping my ego under control. She laughs.

She tells me that she met a guy once from FB and that he lied to her, he was much older, and did not look like in his pics. I assure her I am just like in the pics.

I tell her that I just want to see her in person for 10 minutes and see if she's not a weirdo or something, and that we could meet some other day to grab a drink and have a proper date if everything is ok. She says, again, that maybe its a better idea to meet some other time. I say fine, but I may not be available some other day.
She says that I look kind of ****y, and that she doesnt like ****y guys.
Then she tells me that if we're meeting for 10 minutes she would rather see me some other time, cause she doesnt want to get dressed etc just for that. (wtf?)
I tell her that we can grab a coffee and hang out for a while if she prefers that; she agrees.

So, the thing is, we're meeting today at 20:00 but...as I wrote in my title, I has cost more than expected to get her out. On the right hand I understand her cause we've never seen in other in person, but on the left hand I think that she is not that interested and could even flake last minute, and that I should have nexted her.

Thoughts?

P.S.

With other chicks from online it has been easier to get them out, but I did not want to next her too soon.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

You're letting her jerk you around. Once you asked her out and she said she was busy, you should have just given her your number and told her to call you when she has a few evenings free and left it at that. Maybe contact her again in a week or two if you really want, but other than that wait for her to call you.

You're also being too available. When she said she is busy, then later asks to meat up the same day you should already have plans. Tell her you'd like to see her but that you've already have plans tonight and you two can schedule something later in the week.

Never send pictures. You should already have some good ones on your FB, or your dating profile, or whatever online method you met. If you met in person then she's already seen you and she doesn't need pictures either.

If she's constantly contacting you but not willing to schedule a date, then she's keeping you as a backup, or for an ego boost, or something like that. Wait several days to respond to her, especially Facebook messages.

How is it you've been on her for so long but don't learn from your mistakes? I mean literally you are making the same mistakes as when you first posted. I'm thinking you might be a lost cause. Just my .02 worth

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Now she's texting me.

You didn't fvck her so I wouldn't say it went well. If you are going to push the boundaries via text you have to push them further in person, which you did not...just my opinion.

come on pyros, you have over 1k posts and are here since 2011, you know pretty well what you should be doing, and that mean not wasting time with girl over internet, who is unsure if she want to go out with you and need convincing to go out with you? why suplicate for her going out with you? you shouldn't even care if she says yes or not, you ask if yes then follow if not fine make yourself scarse and go out with other woman
