SO. there is this HB8 that I found really attractive in my class last semester, but her ex- bf (1 year long relationship) is usually sit next to her, according to a few people I know that is her best friend now and dont have any other feeling besides a best friend. He is the biggest AFC of all time, and ultimate nice guy that always buy her food and give her rides etc.

Now this semester started, I have one class with her, but her ex is always with her. Then today I went into a class trying to get in even though it was full, unsuspectingly her ex and HB8 was in there. The only seat was next to her EX, or I have to stand for 3 hrs. So I can to, I got to know the dude. But didn't got a chance to talk to HB8. Should I play cool with the dude, since he the ultimate AFC and then make a move on HB8 or is that a bad idea. What do you guys recommend in this type of situation?

Are you sure they're separated? For all you know, they're still having "ex" sex.

Move on the lady man, he's old news.

well they broke up for over a year already, and she only hang out with her ex is because thats the only 'friend' she got because college just started. and her other friend into the whole frat thing, while she isn't. sooo, tuff situation.
