I've been texting and talking to a woman on the phone I met on OLD, but it seems she is no longer responding to me. How can I salvage this? I really like her. Should I wait to contact her, and if so, for how long? She is a single mother, and I know she is especially busy this time of year with the holidays. Tomorrow is her birthday. Should I contact her late in the day tomorrow and wish her a happy birthday, or wait longer to contact her?

The point of online dating is to either meet up for long-term dating, get their guts rearranged in casual dating (lol), or just get validation. It rarely turns into a pen-pal situation.

If you haven’t asked her out yet, chances are someone else has taken your top spot.

If you were the last one to message her, I wouldn’t double-text, not even for a birthday. However, if she does reach out, make sure to ask her out soon. Also, talk to more women so you do not get oneitis, gain outcome independence, and prevent a scarcity mentality.
