It really depends on the woman. Some like beards and some like clean shaven. I just wouldn't recommend growing a really big, bushy beard. Keep it trimmed and short.

What studies? Time and time again, heavy stubble has been shown to be the number one choice.

Some guys don't grow beards, they get patchy pube face ... in these cases = clean shaven.

Otherwise - a neatly groomed *full* beard has to make one stand out among his peers as more masculine. And that can't hurt with the ladies.

If your beard doesn't look like pubes, do it. But this whole "I have my original facial hairs" look is disgusting IMO (famous in Austin). Most women prefer 3 days growth.

I got a chinstrap and a mustache it's a bit different depending on race. (I'm black) It also matters the structure of your face. I have a strong jawline & chin. My facial hair highlights that, so I keep it.

If you have a weak chin grow out your beard, if you jaws okay you can go either way. All the studies I've seen said clean shaven, but those must be dated cause what's "in" right now is a well kept full beard, and a decent length of hair.

im fortunate enough to be able grow whatever facial hair i want

full beard , a light stubble , heavy stubble ive experimented with them all and im pretty young ( early 20's)

a full beard made me look older and rougher and some chicks soaked themselves over it .....but the general consensus was it was too much

a clean shave for me makes me look slighty more handsome but far too young to be hitting the type of women i want

i now constantly sport about a grade 2 all over stubble sometimes letting it grow a little longer / shorter depending on mood when im tanned this looks sick and i rarely have any trouble getting a chicks eye

I never am truely clean shaved couse I only cut my beard with an electric hair cutter, so I always have at least a shadow.


It doesnt really make any difference. They like me anyway. The thing that makes a difference is young girls like a guy who looks like hes about to kill somebody, while older women like guys who are smiling more so its in the facial expressions rather than the hair.

No patches here...I've had a full five o'clock shadow since I'm 15. I shave on my work days. Otherwise I sport a 2-3 day stubble. It looks awesome and I've been complimented on it countless times.

Depends on the women, however, from what I've observed with men who are in relationships with very attractive women, beards are preferred. You will give out a more masculine vibe.
