"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

First post here, been reading and taking things in for a while. I can't get over the lack of manliness that I see in society, and am frustrated at the way I feel my own growth stunted by some of those I grew up with. Thank god I have a father who set a good example, but I have yet to live up to that example. So I look for inspiration in characters in movies, books, and games. I want to know your favorite scene in any movie that demonstrates a man at his finest.

One for me that comes to mind is the end of Conan the Destroyer. I'm not talking about Arnold being all ripped, and I know that the movie is pretty bad. What I'm getting at is the part where the princess offers a role to every member of Conan's team and finally gives Conan the offer to rule beside her. Everyone else jumped up all happy to take what was offered. And Conan just stands there like the badass he is and says, "I will have my own kingdom." He turns, walks out, almost stops for just a moment, but continues on his way without ever looking back. Mother Fvcker did what he came to do and left to fulfill his destiny: his OWN kingdom. That to me is what being a man is all about. What do you think and what examples do you have that you like?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I saw Untouchable last week, French Film with subtitles, easily the best movie Ive seen this year, the black hoody/carer is an excellent Alpha, his attitude is awesome, based on a true story as well.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Sure its a trash movie but you can really see the self assured unapologetic attitude a man should have.

Look at 0.50 when the witch appears, he doesnt say to the women to move away cause it could be dangerous and he needs space, he simply push her away.

1.07 he knows what it takes and he doesnt have problem to get it.

2.20 no sentimental bullsh1t or apologies for messing up the place while fighting the villain, he simply takes the girl which he saved.

Its not only the part itself but the attitude.

Charlton Heston in Planet of the Apes.

The scene where he escapes with the sympathetic apes and goes to grab the hot chick.
One of the apes says: "We don't want her!"
He says: "I want her!"
Damn she was hot too.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.
