There is no way to tell given so little information between you two.

I think if a present destroyed your chances with her, then you guys are probably not strong to begin with.

You should worry about the larger picture---where are you at with her right now, and what can you do.

My plate just asked me what I wanted for Christmas.

She did the same last year, bought me a present and I felt obliged to reciprocate, history trying to repeat itself.

As to what I'll get? Not sure yet. Last year I bought her a MK wallet but I'm feeling stingy this year.

If you do decide to buy a gift, small creative stuff is the way to go. My GF is a Chapstick fiend (nice soft lips for my c0ck) so for her bday I bought a gumball machine and filled it up with mini chapsticks. She d@mn near cried and talked about it for weeks - and I spent less than $75 on it.

Another idea is to buy her something YOU like. Maybe a jersey from your favorite football team. Or a fishing pole (and then take her fishing).
