I somewhat agree, but think some sort of 'mass control tool' is actually required unfortunately.

When I was a little kid in the 90's and 00's Christianity was still the main ideology. We actually sang Christian songs in school assembly and got taught those values. That kind of culture has been very purposefully eroded, leaving a sort of power vacuum which feminism has taken up.

I think the majority of people are sheep that don't want to think too hard, and really do need to be led around by the nose. So perhaps better the devil you know in that regard.
and that is one reason I prefer to drop it all, what hold people back before was not religion, was society as a whole, if woman was sluting around no man would want her for anything serious, worse even IF she had kid of someone else, she would NEVER find a men again, today? the thirsty is strong on everyone, some even are willing to share partner just to no to be alone, we traded self value to public validation, teh first you know how valuable you are and would never compromise yourself for anyone, the later you have no value from you, so you seek this from a external source.

also remember religion will change based on need to keep people, if they dogma are not selling as well as before, they will change it to gather people

my reason to drop all religion is not only is a clutch, holding people back, is because as long you treat people as invalid who can't have freedom and deal the outcomes of they decisions, they will never learn to be free, you can bet your ass then most people who love to yell they are independent are the most who are dependent of help from the goverment or they parents

the problem is when this archor start to pull you down and start to drown all diferent ideas you can, or even as holding you back to be better

my take is beliving in god or not is not the problem, most of the time the problem is beliving in religion, becasue all religion love to fight telling they are the one gods made, but when we come to terms and think when they started, it was all mens who made then
From my Christian faith, I've learnt that God encourages men to be the best he can since it was God's original design - since we men are made in his image.

Since God's knowledge is boundless, his power infinite etc etc then we men should strive to be like him.

Which makes me wonder, how is it that you guys manage to think otherwise?

You were born to be great, to explore the universe, to conquer everything, that is ur God given right.

The question is that everyone here should ask themselves is, why hv you not done it yet or what have you done so far?

yes a perfect god created imperfect beings, who are easily tempted by another creation of his, the simple fact there is a fallen angel and god can't do anything to stop him already hit his allmighty status, so the question is, or god is not as perfect as you guys belive, or he is not as good as you belive, spaz you who like to delve in filosofy should know niche by now

Rick I'm not here to spread Christianity nor is it the appropriate platform.

I'm just pointing out to the fellas here that each and every man has an inborn duty to take responsibility for their own actions in life, hence the "anchor".

It's good that you hv yours, and so do many others who either uses their brains to think or prefers to use other spiritual means such as the Bible.

It is after all a guide.

It's like Einstein giving the world E=Mc2 but ended up being blamed for the creation of the atomic bomb whilst ignoring the fact that the uses of that formula has many other good applications.
Mythical things never really impressed me. I equated to more to Hercules, Zeus and Aries than anything logical based and backed by facts. But if a person needs a crutch, that's cool.

Some see Satan as a metaphor for man's selfishness and evil, but that aside:

If there is a God, He is far above human logic. Criticizing Him would be a like a two year old trying to explain how things should be to his father, or more like an ant trying to dictate to humans how to build an atomic bomb.

Fallen angels or even man, God gave them an independent will, the gift of freedom.

I guess he didn't want robots, he empowered both angels and man to surpass their known limits, to be greater but some choose another path.

To me, that is an act of a benevolent God.

I grew up in a Christian school. It was ruff. We weren't allowed to be "haughty" or "puffed up" weren't allowed to fight much, drink much, "sin" much, without severe consequences or expulsion. I was on ancestry dot com and it supplied my Senior annual pic and the surrounding classmates' pics, and looking back with my mature mind, what I see in the photos is more mature classmates to the top, to the left, to the right, and below me in the middle. One down below died just a couple of years after graduation to cancer I remember. He was a good redheaded kid (tall) but not very attractive much but an athlete and I'd say goofy-looking but well-read (history). Then the others around look "Christian" or at "peace" and certainly mature, and probably All had been laid both girls and boys by that point by their girlfriends/boyfriends respectively. The future was ahead of us all, we were settin out... starting our adult lives. Many all around my photo on that page look "confident" I guess "in Christ." We were college prep, so of course college was a breeze first couple of years.

Anyway, back to MY pic. I look SAD (as opposed to the others but the girl on my left). I look like I wanna fight (thus immature for a "senior" photo). I look ANGRY and disturbed or in a vindictive mood. In fact, my Entire school life I felt that way that I was being belittled by my Christian surroundings. My Angry and violent dad has something to do with my demeanor All My Life. I just cried having seen his "my life" (you know that site) photo and the description saying he's deceased. It just fvcks me up. Most people in my school Did NOT have a father like mine. Most had Christian fathers or "corporate" fathers but not all of course. But that breathes through in my pic. The Years of torment NOT behaving "Christian" like those around me expected me to behave. I had anger against the "system," against them wanting me to be (teacher AND classmates) a certain way, to act and speak a certain way...to conform. My photo appears "arrested development" and I appear almost TWELVE or not "mature" like those on all sides of me. One must say, "What are you so Angry about?" Well, I didn't like the gossip, I didn't like betrayal, I missed my cousins from youth, my brothers. The fuzzy "we are kindred spirits" warm feel between blood doesn't apply to foreigners that are your classmates. I missed the kinship for years and years and I had become a warped loss of identity individual.

I was tan, young, not fat just normal (or slightly thin I'd say) good looking and though concerned about his image. I was sooooooo sheltered bein in that school, but in addition I was clamping down my OWN personal limitations by not exploring much like the other car-drivers did. Most had jobs. I didn't. So I couldn't pay for gas much to go out much so I stayed home and just played sports at the gym whatever in my local radius.

I guess I'm still the same guy in the photo and I love that guy for sticking to his guns. I look like I'm about to draw my weapon in the photo. My dad, a Marine, as well as his side of the family introduced me to guns very early in life and it was just an obsession for them. Reloading all manner of calibers in a shed on a farm in the middle of nowhere where we'd shoot (but it was once every 3 to 4 years we got to go down there to shoot and be around family - REAL people real women who were "Earthy" and wise and sweet and good and common sensical, just Nature people from another world like Civil War times or something). Not sure if some of my preppy classmates, girls and boys, got to experience the "Earth" like I did growing up. Sure, a few did, but many of them were children of the concrete city, though I remember a boy who created moonshine but he left our school didn't last long.

Anyway, a FINE girl down below who I had a tussle with and attraction for/from in classes, never married. She's still pretty fine in the face at least in her 40s, just with pics of her and her dog. She was beautiful in her senior pic laid out in the sunlight on a lawn (mine was sitting on a rock). So she never reproduced. Neither have I (yet). We were both top 5 best-looking in our class (not much competition though out of 100 or so students). Is it a waste? our genes? not going forward? I don't know but I love who I was as Confused as I was at that time in my life a 17 yr old. I looked Angry and I am sure people (gossiping) were always wondering "what's wrong?" (with him), cause I WAS aesthetically probably envied for my features and had all the attributes that Surely would/should have brought reproduction 10-fold. I just didn't play the game hahah. I had every desirable feature along with mystery or uniqueness. I chose not to play the game. I hated the way the world was turnin. I could see it, even then. I don't think ANY of my classmates could see it. I was angry cause I was seein reality of the future and present and reality is Ugly. You choose to live in a make-believe world like them (my classmates) your opportunity for reproduction is greatly enhanced.

It's like Michael Jackson or Prince being a "Jehovah's Witness." What for? He wanted to be controlled. Anyone who joins a cult like that wants control (or rules) to believe the fantasy, because to live in reality is self-defeating at times closing down doors for you in your life. You can relate when everyone's on the same page. I was on the same page with my kin, my cousins/brothers early on in life. I just couldn't forge the fake relationships with foreigners I had to be around who didn't see/treat me as a brother/cousin. Everyone was so impartial. Well not everyone, I had solid friends but they moved on, still keep in touch with One. He was my best one, the one with the Golden Gloves father.
Christianity was made by beta males because the alpha are getting all the women and money so they had to invent bu**** to give them a purpose for their suffering.

Excuse me.... Beta males?

I'm not even gonna talk abt all the prophets or even jesus.

Explain, how is it that Pope John Paul II was the catalyst that brought the downfall of communism in Poland and greatly influenced the same in all the Soviet satellite states?

Seems you know nothing much except spewing on here the narratives of ur own life.

Christ boiled it all down into one rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That's why they killed him. Can't make money off of just one rule or law. I can live by that. Of course, I've wondered well what if you're ordering for a friend, food, and that friend is vegetarian and you're not? Do you do unto your friend as he/she would do unto you? and order a burger?

I always thought it was Jesus turned down Satan's offer in the desert and that pissed Satan off. So Satan had Jesus killed.
But the irony was that it was God's plan. He said so in the old testaments. If Jesus hadn't been killed and then resurrected, it wouldn't have made a huge impact.

A lot of these young cucks are turning evil. That's why the lot of them are turning towards socialism and communism.
That poster before you reference Nietzsche and probably doesn't even understand it.
But the work of Nietzsche was what lead to the rise of Nazi Germany.
I bet that poster is a closet Neo-Nazi.

yes free will, but everything is still on gods plan, so he gave you free will to obey what he want, that is hardly freedom, you can't say god have a plan to everyone and then toss the free will, you are just saying you need to obey and never question

The only true “god” is nature. All religion is made so that humans don’t destroy each other. If there wasn’t religion the human race would be in chaos (more so)

If you owned a washing machine and it came with an instruction manual from the manufacturer telling you how to maintain and operate it at peak efficiency, you would have free will to operate it however you like. However, if it broke down, it's on you for not listening to the manufacturer.

Nietzsche died of syphilis. He accomplished nothing aside from wasting his time as a horemonger and writing really bad and incoherent poetry. Only an idiot would take his claims seriously.

But, but "ooh, look at me, edgy emo citing Nietzsche!"

Nietzsche had it right. His work influenced me more positively than anything else. Especially is work on the will to power and on the genealogy of morality. I’m getting laid like a rockstar and enjoying my life discovering new talents by the day and getting happier and more confident because of his work. Every religion told me to be humble and to put myself down **** that.
