and that is one reason I prefer to drop it all, what hold people back before was not religion, was society as a whole, if woman was sluting around no man would want her for anything serious, worse even IF she had kid of someone else, she would NEVER find a men again, today? the thirsty is strong on everyone, some even are willing to share partner just to no to be alone, we traded self value to public validation, teh first you know how valuable you are and would never compromise yourself for anyone, the later you have no value from you, so you seek this from a external source.I somewhat agree, but think some sort of 'mass control tool' is actually required unfortunately.
When I was a little kid in the 90's and 00's Christianity was still the main ideology. We actually sang Christian songs in school assembly and got taught those values. That kind of culture has been very purposefully eroded, leaving a sort of power vacuum which feminism has taken up.
I think the majority of people are sheep that don't want to think too hard, and really do need to be led around by the nose. So perhaps better the devil you know in that regard.
also remember religion will change based on need to keep people, if they dogma are not selling as well as before, they will change it to gather people
my reason to drop all religion is not only is a clutch, holding people back, is because as long you treat people as invalid who can't have freedom and deal the outcomes of they decisions, they will never learn to be free, you can bet your ass then most people who love to yell they are independent are the most who are dependent of help from the goverment or they parents
