"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

I've never been in a relationship, but I've had onenitis plenty of times.

My question: is it possible to start a relationship with a chick who you DON'T have a total onenitis crush on, and then develop the onenitis feeling with her later?

After all, onenitis is beautiful if it's the girl you have a LTR with. It only sucks when you have onenitis with a girl that doesn't care about you.

I get plenty of girls who are interested in me... but I reject pretty much all of them because I don't get onenitis with them at first sight. Can I develop this later? Or does it have to be love at first sight?

Hanging out with a girl I have onenitis on is like walking on clouds and feeling euphoric. Hanging out with any other chick is just like hanging out with a guy for me.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Are you asking if you should settle in hopes that she'll get better with age? Either that or them training you to become p-whipped?

Okay, oneitis is totally obsessing over one chick you cant have, or one that broke up with you and cant get over.

This is what dating is for. You go out, see if you're compatible. If so,you keep going. How can you get oneitis with someone you barely know? It would just be a physical infatuation.

I dunno what to say to this, just game some more chicks and go with the flow. The way it works is you find one that has "oneitis" for you

Oneitis isnt that bad if you are extremely self-controlled can manage yourself through the hardships of a breakup. Personally, I find the intimate connection to be very rewarding and fulfilling.

But there isn't any connect when a guy has "one-itis." He's overly infatuated in one woman and the feelings aren't reciprocated. The guy is putting all his efforts into this one woman in hopes that she'll (eventually) "come around" to appreciating his one sided admiration.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
