"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

When I first found this site, it helped me see things from a different perspective. So, I did what I thought was the way to fix things. I lied to myself and made myself believe I was someone that I was no where near. and it worked. For over a year, Ive been blind, until 3 months ago.

That is when I discovered that CHANGE comes from conflict. CHANGE comes from going out there, taking a risk, succeeding/crashing, and learning from it. If you keep sitting there doing nothing, you will get no where.

I'm a better person than I was. I can feel it in my bones. And it's because I finally took some ****ing risks in life, crashed and burned, and learned from it. I've finally realized it and I grew the balls to take action. And guess what, it's the best feeling in the world.

If you are unhappy with where you are, get ****ing ready. If you want change, you are going to have to take some risks.

You are going to have to FACE your fears and be a man. Lying to yourself will not help. You can lie to yourself all you want; you can find millions of excuses to why you shouldnt approach that girl, why you shouldnt go lift today, or why you shouldnt study for your test. But in the end, YOU ARE NOT being a man, you are just feeding yourself with bull**** and digging your own hole deeper.

That's what it all comes down to: you either do something or you don't. No excuses. No more lying to yourself. And believe me once you start actually doing and working to improve, improvement will come.

True that, practice makes perfect. It's only highschool, this is the best time to **** up bad, when it doesn't matter, except for grades, it's mostly to learn life skills. Pretty good advice.

Its good to see that you've come to the realization that ACTING the part, isn't BEING the part. You need to actually go out and become a better person. Actually talk to girls. Actually improve your confidence. Actually form a real 'aura' for yourself. Welcome aboard.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
