Basically I'm looking for the dangers of dating a girl that has a bad relationship with her father or has never met him. Please and thank you
Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yes, beware the "waif" or the "lost child" type of woman from a destuctive upbringing.boomerick said:BPD Waifs have a nose for Capt Sav-A-Ho White Knights. If you are one of these or even think you might be one of these look out. You'll instinctively think you can help/save/be strong for her. It'll work for a while then slowly things change. The drama you thought would only be temporary never seems to end. There's always new issues. Soon you will be the issue. She will fight or cheat or both. The background info you've given about your girl doesn't sound good at all. Does it mean she'll have issues? Who knows? You've asked this question for a reason though. If it were me I'd go slow and be VERY watchful for any wierdness. At the first uncomfortable exchange I'd next. That's what I would do.
The danger of not dating a girl with parent issues is that you'll not be dating at least 4/5th of the women.MyTeamSupreme said:Basically I'm looking for the dangers of dating a girl that has a bad relationship with her father or has never met him. Please and thank you![]()
The biggest issue with this girl is you're already trying to be her girlfriend/therapist so it's not going to work out anyway.MyTeamSupreme said:Just to be clear the girl that I'm talking about has never met her father and doesn't have a good relationship with her mother. She see's her mother as insensitive and unemotional with a drinking problem. Whats funny is because of that she never touches alcohol herself but has an emotional wall up
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

It's like saying "what do you do about women with issues regarding drinking" and then later you say "I didn't mention alcohol, it's just that she's clumsy and spills Pepsi on herself".
Be more clear with questions and you'll get better answers.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
