"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

So I'm a giver. A trait I aquired from my mum.

To pretty much all my friends, I give things. The other day I bought an inexpensive Christian necklace for my friends sister. Day before I got another one of my friends a magazine he really wanted, but couldn't get locally.

Basically, I just enjoy giving people small gifts once in a while. Sometimes I go out to town, find a poor starving black kid (they're everywhere in this country) and just go and get him whatever he wants from the store.

But for the life of me, I can't get over getting my girlfriend something. I was at a theme park the other day, and they had a stall where they sold cool little coloured, and rare rocks. So instinclively I thought of buying a few and quickly chaining 'em together into a bracelet or something for my girlfriend. But couldn't stop thinking that I'm being AFC. And that gifts are bad.

Somehow, I know this ain't the way to think. But I just can't help myself. I've never seen anyong give a thumbs up to a gift for your girl. Sure, I defintately don't agree with using gifts as bribes to girls you don't have any... relations with. Cause a gift will never buy you attraction.

Any thoughts?

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

nothing wrong with it....just dont go overboard with it....what you did buying something at a theme park is pretty harmless (because it was spontaneous) and probably helped....as long as your not doing it all the time i think your ok

You can do it in a more curiousity way more than the reg afc way. For instance you make a bet with her for example...

You: "Lets so who can go around the go cart course the most, if you win you get a prize if I win...(something you want)"
her: ok (Girls love playing games, I once found a yugioh card on the floor and end up turning it into a game by putting it on a table between me and her and racing to see who gets it first)

This way she had to work for that gift, you didn't just give it to her.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

And rightly so.

I have a little checklist that must be met before I reward birds with gifts, every other man here should have something similar.

#1 Does she suck it regularly (extra points for swallowing)
#2 Does she more often than not treat you like a King
#3 Does she cook and clean for you (even if you both live in seperate places a chick whos into will do the above now and then)

Only then after she meets the above requirements will I even remotely consider giving her a gift and thats not even to say I will. I should be MORE than enough of a gift for her anyway, which I am obviously.
