Can anyone recommend a beginner Spanish DVD?

I downloaded the Chinese pod course and I play that's while I'm doing my household chores. That has worked great and my Chinese is a bit established now.

I've heard good things about Latina chicks, I've also been chatting to this Colombian chick online and that's been fun.

I like latin dance and we have Spanish conversation meet up groups in Melbourne. So sounds like there is potential for expanding my market.

I downloaded the Spanish pod course but it's a bit weird even though it says its newbie level it doesn't start from scratch.

So can anyone recommend a course preferably one that I can download but I'm happy to spend a bit of money if its good.

I don't want an app because the whole point is to add some value to the time I use for my chores - I.e. Its needs to be something I can just listen and talk back to.

The BEST program for learning any language is Pimsleur.

Expensive, but worth it. I used it to learn Japanese.

Thanks heaps guys. Destinos looks really interesting will keep me motivated. And pimsleur starts from absolute zero so perfect.

They all suck to me. I would recommend taking class and then, hang around some people speaking Spanish. Take my advice with a grain of salt though, I struggle with teaching myself anything. I am an auditory learner, but most of the CDs don't do much 'teaching' IMO.
