Can a Man be too independent? Personally I think it's good for a Dude to stay grounded if he has some responsibilities other than himself. It could be in a charitable organization, his faith, a brotherhood group of some kind he contributes to, etc. What are you guy's take on this? How can a Man achieve inner peace and that sense of balance in today's modern world?

I don't quite understand. Are you saying an independent man doesn't do things unless it benefits himself? I don't see how the two things are connected. You can still be highy independent and be a part of charities, support youth groups, etc.

An independent person doesn't rely on others, nor are the controlled by others. They tend to be self reliant and autonomous.
