"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

i have been talking to this chick on the phone for awhile and i noticed that she stopped answering my calls, but responded to my text, and she still continued to instant message me. so i left her a message once, she called me back. i was busy when she called back and i told her i would call her later. i called her later and called her out on not answering her phone. im like "i know why you dont answer your phone" and she was like"why is that" then i said "cause you like to know who you do and dont have power over, you like to see who keeps calling you". she came up with a lame excuss why she does that and i called her out on it"thats a bunch of crap i know your power hungry and do it for fun" and she was quiet for a few seconds then i said "iam right and you know it". is it good to call out the ladies on their ways to make themselves feel more empowering, cause the way i look at it,as long as they know what you are doing and that you know why they do what they do,you are in power.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

You are right about her power trip and that applies to a LOT of women. I'm not sure if calling them on it is good or bad though as I've never tried it. I'd be interested to hear experiences of those who have.

That was amazing insight and you put her in her place - she has more respect for you now!!!

I think I'm going to cry after reading a DJ asserting his manhood! (Why isn't there a tear emoticon - do only women sites have them?)

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

You wanna know how I exercise my power? I number close women I'm not especially interested in and then I NEVER call them.

is it good to call out the ladies on their ways to make themselves feel more empowering,

No, this is a very bad idea. It was a mistake to tell her 'I know why you don't answer your phone'. You gave her what little power you had by 'saying' it. You probably came across pretty insecure to her or a guy who 'thinks' he knows his $hit. Now, she's not returning your call...shocker.

If you knew her 'game', you should have kept quiet and turned it around on her. This would have 'shown' her you know what she's doing and you're not falling into it. You know the term 'actions speak louder then words'?
