"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

hey, i was browsing this site last night and stumbled on the bootcamp. sounded like a good place to start, so here i am.

just a quick background: im at a new college, and couldnt be more out of my comfort zone. im not the most social person in the world and chose the most social dorm on campus to break my slightly anti-social behavior.

anyway, thats about it for now, i just need to shake this feeling of insecurity ive had since ive been on campus. the bootcamp should help, and ill be starting day 1 today.

goal: 50 hi's with eye-contact within a week. shouldnt be too hard, i just have to commit!

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

you know what though
i think an approach journal would be the best thing though
unless you are REALLY AFRAID of talking to girls

with an approach journal you could approach, ask for tips and go on dates

just a thought

week 1 has been completed, saying hi to strangers was never really that difficult but its not like it was something i did everyday. now its within my "comfort zone."

i know im suppose to post at least once a week so i apologize for not keeping up with it, but i had a crazy week. i decided to try out for the tennis team at my school for fun, considering that they're the best in their division and did well at nationals. after taking a year off from the game i figured id just go out and have fun but i ended up making the team. granted its the bottom spot, but i can train and work my way up a few spots and play the game i love. i seriously almost cried as i was walking back to my dorm after my last win. i thought i would never be a tennis player again (you have to understand, ive played for more then 10 years, ive done tournaments my whole life etc.).

but ya, it was so hard not to grin as i was walking around yesterday (that was the last day of tryouts) and went out with the team to celebrate and got completely wasted. overall it was a very good weekend. i also got this girls #, it didnt go over very smoothely but eh, i guess she thought i was cute.

how it went down: i was mildly inebriated, hangin out with some friends, and i realized that i was having the best day ever. so i decided to go talk to this cute redhead, i figured even if she kicked me in the balls, nothing short of my parents/friends dieing would kill my mood that evening.

but ya, ill begin week 2 on monday, i have a crapload of homework/reading to catch up on
