BJJ/Boxing killing me

I've started BJJ again, and it's pretty f*cking intense.

I train three times a week minimum, usually for about 2-2.5 hours, at a Carlson Gracie Academy.

Today I fought just four 5-minute bouts, but I felt like I was going to die at the last one.

I'm 160, but pretty f*cking strong, and I went against this other white belt who's a cut and ripped guy probably weighing around 180. Strong f*ck.

We brawled it out for a few minutes, he almost submitted me in the rear naked, but I finally escaped, then he got me in the triangle choke the last 10 seconds.

I'm pissed I had to tap, but I was so f*cking tired. He was my last opponent, and I was already tired, and he just had so much more strength.

Anyway, I need some tips for recovery and staying strong.

I train BJJ three times a week, and only work out twice per week for about 45 minutes, focusing only on chest, legs, back, shoulders.

I'm losing all fat right now though and feeling like I'm dropping weight with all this cardio.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Since jerking off is obviously a major factor here, I'm going to estimate about 2-3 times per day.

I usually f*ck my gf at least once per day (she's not around now).

I'm 19.

I need to get this handled too. I bet u tapped cos you gassed out. That happens to me because i simply have zero energy left and i am submitted with ****ty submissions cos i dont attempt any defense because im tottaly fecked!.

my routine is like urs too.

mon: BJJ - gi, 2 hours
tue: BJJ - no gi, 1.5 hours
wed: BJJ - gi, 2 hours
thurs: weights ( arms + back ) morning , kick boxing in evening, 2 hours
fri: weights ( chest + shoulders + tris )
sat: weights ( legs ) and option of BJJ no gi
sun: well deserved rest.


i need to get my cardio WAAAY up. How can i do it?

Now I'm back to eating at least 3000 calories per day, not the measly 2000 I was, THEN training like an animal and wondering why I felt like I was falling to pieces!

If you take a week off bjj, and still lift/eat alot, you'll gain 3-4 pounds. The you'll lose around 2-3 when you go back.

I can still gain about a pound a month while doing bjj.
