"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Looking for some good stuff that will keep me focused on my goals and improving myself, want to hang them around on my laptop, bedroomdoor.

I need to run into them every day.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

One that has helped me through many a hard times is: "What does not kill me, makes my moustache grow longer". Also, check out a page called "unspirational" on Instagram if you're on there.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

"I hated every minute of training. But I said 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.'" - Muhammad Ali.

"I am the greatest!" - Muhammad Ali.

"I'm not the greatest; I'm the double greatest!" - Muhammad Ali.

"I am gonna show you how great I am." - Muhammad Ali.

"Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have the skill, and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill." - Muhammad Ali.

"To be a great champion, you must believe you are the best. If you're not, pretend you are." - Muhammad Ali.

(This one is for you guys) "My toughest fight was with my first wife." - Muhammad Ali.

"I know where I'm going and I know the truth, and I don't have to be what you want me to be. I'm free to be what I want." - Muhammad Ali.

"I am the greatest; I said that even before I knew I was." - Muhammad Ali.

"All my life, I was told that I am not sh!t, that I'm ugly, not athletic, and that there is nothing special about me except all the bad traits in a person. Well to all you motherfvckers, look who's the big man now? Smarter, stronger, more socially apt, and better than ALL of you! NO one could have done what I have done in my life. NO ONE! So yeah, go ahead. Call me scrawny, ugly, weak, wussy, say that you can snap me like a twig with one finger one more time! It'll only make me stronger as I prove ALL of you wrong a THOUSAND times over! :box: :box: :box: " - Me.

"Look dude, you do what you gotta do. And deep down inside, you know EXACTLY what it is that you gotta do. The choice is yours if you want to follow through. But if you don't, hey man, that's on you." - Me.

I just realized something, the above [sort of] rhymes.

Here are my current favorite quotes.. They keep me inspired and help me with being outcome independant.

"Doing what you have always done, gets you what you've always gotten."

"You can't have a positive outcome with negative energy. So do what gives you positive energy first, then find your positive outcome."

"The inability to delay gratification leads to the biggest downfalls"

"The greatest and fastest gains in relationships happen when people just stop doing things that are negative. You don't even have to do anything new, just stop the endless displays of low value and negative energy"

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

As far as answering the OP, check out Classics of Strategy and Counsel, by Thomas Cleary. I recommend every DJ get this three book series yesterday, OOP and usually expensive on Ebay but worth every penny.
