If you haven't already, you should see "The Girl Next Door". I don't know the name of the character, but he plays a porn producer/director that is trying to get Elisha Cuthbert's character to work for him again after she leaves porn. The dude with brown spiky hair to be more specific. He's got some funny lines and has a 'I'm on top of the world, f**k you' type attitude. He's a total assh**e but good with women. To me, this movie sucked except for the scenes he was in.

Wow I read through almost all of this and I can not believe no one mentioned "Wedding Crashers". Not only is it like one of the funniest movies in a long while in my opinion its also a great DJ movie or PUA movie.

I would like to add Disappearing Acts to the list.

Wesly Snipes plays a jerk in this movie and maybe it's a litlle bit corny but I like the way Snipes acts like a man.

The character he portrayed may've been a good role model, however Tom Cruise himself is a fvcking d1ckhead, IMO.

Legends of the Fall and Glengarry Glen Ross

The best example in my mind of an alpha male portrayed in film is the character Tristan in Legends of the Fall, played by Brad Pitt. He has only one ****y and funny line in the movie to my knowledge (when he's talking to his younger brother about fvcking), but he epitomizes what it is to be alpha. I wouldn't call him a PUA, but he is definitely a chick magnet in the movie. He's confident, independent, aggressive, and fearless. Most importantly, he does whatever he wants and doesn't apologize for his behavior.

Also pay close attention to Alec Baldwin's character Blake in Glengarry Glen Ross. He has "brass balls" in this movie. His philosophy for selling real estate that he explains in his only scene in the movie is exactly how DJs should be approaching picking up women. "ABC--always be closing." Watch his monologue before going out to the club to boost your morale. Haha.

Blow (2001) - Not so much for the women, but just for the character of the guy.

Don Juan role models shouldn't come from a movie that is laced with homosexual undertones.

Why Blow man? He takes drugs, gets all caught up in doing imoral ****. Stoops low to provide for his daughter. I don't see where you are coming from... has no one seen DJ deMarco (J Depp)?

Don Juan De Marco

Yeah, I saw Don Juan De Marco just this month. It was nothing special. Johnny Depp plays a delusional 20 year old living in Queens, NY who thinks he's Don Juan and dresses in a black cape with a mask and all. He doesn't have any memorable scenes where he uses game to seduce women. I wouldn't waste my time with this one.

I might suggest a little Guy Richie called Revolver to be added to the list.

In it, the main character realises that his inner voice, that had being guiding him throughout the film, is in fact his true enemy, it is what always makes him anxious in threatening situations and makes him flip on occassions. A scene in a elevator shows him ' fighting ' with his inner voice and winning. The final scene of the film ( after he overcomes his inner voice ) shows him in a threatening situation but he is not anxious at all anymore. I'm crap at explaining things but its worth seeing, for that alone, I think.

I also recently saw Fight Club, I won't say much as it will spoil the film. But the Brad's character is indeed a good one, one who doesn't give a F*** about anything and as well as encouraging to look at society in a different way. I don't like the whole ' giving up all hope ' ideal but I agree with the ' You are not specail! ' idea, though.

Let's see... It all depends of what kind of a man or DJ you're trying to portray. My favorites are:
-Don Juan de Marco (quote: "I would say that he has a rather limited and uncreative way of looking at the situation. Look, you want to know if I understand that this is a mental hospital? Yes, I understand that, but then how can I say that you are Don Octavio and I am a guest at your villa? Correct?")
-Dr. Zhivago (I know, I know... Still, Omar Sharif kicks ass in that, he's a clear example of a "good guy with an attitude")
-Roger Dodger
-Ocean's Eleven (Pitt-Clooney combo, excellent convo, both are C&F to the T)
-Brilliant Mind (another "good guy with an attitude" example)
-An Officer and a Gentleman (Gere's got game, apparently all the chicks fall for his soapy "Autumn in New York" role as well)
That's a short list of what I have in mind for movies that can improve your character as well as your game.

I think "Catch Me If You Can" is a good example as well. Especially the way how self-confident Leonardo DiCaprio handles women and also people in general. You can really see a development of his character and that finally it all comes down to how you present yourself...
