Best clubs to pull in Toronto Area?

Flying in to Toronto for a business meeting in late august and I noticed quite a few DJs from the area on this forum.

keen to hear your recommendations for the best places to pull. 29 Y.O.

I can’t give you advice on TO. I’ve never been there.

But, as general advice, as a business traveler, you might have a better chance at your hotel bar/lounge than a nightclub. Or the bar at an adjacent hotel (next door or across the street). Women might be slightly older, but less sausage and better logistics.

I wouldn’t attempt a nightclub unless it’s very close to your hotel. She’s not interested in “only a 45-minute Uber back to your room.” lol

+1 on this. In fact, it's even applicable for locals in any given area too. It's more applicable for travelers though.

Logistics are so key for the pull in bars/clubs. You need to live or have a hotel room within walking distance or less than 10 min shared ride from the venue.

Enough said. Toronto is one of the worst places to try to get your dicck wet in North America. Women are toxic there not only for extended relationships but even the same night lay. There's a reason Toronto has such a bad reputation.

Toronto used to have a huge club scene but, for various reasons, most of the clubs have disappeared. The ones that remain aren't great and are generally favoured by a "particular clientele". Two people recently got shot in one of the few remaining clubs (google 'EFS').

Toronto's nightlife is centred around restaurants and bars. The three main areas (all downtown or in close proximity to downtown) are Yorkville, King West, and Queen West/Ossignton. In Yorkville, you will find an older pretentious crowd. In King West, a younger pretentious crowd. And Queen West/Ossignton is mostly hipsters. The hottest girls will be found in King West.

i haven’t been ther since pre-pandemic, but prior to that, I actually found the girls at the bar / club to be quite reasonable. But maybe the times have changed.

It’s not as bad as people portray. I’ve been here for two days, literally everyone is so nice, smiling, friendly and talkative. Got two numbers yesterday: one at this “world fair” downtown from this HB7 26 yo. She was with a friend and we started chatting casually and they picked up immediacy I wasn’t from here and the conversation just kicked off.

Another at a coffee shop, HB7 Asian. Meeting her tonight for a “tour” of the city.

I think that some of our Toronto-based forum members are just bitter guys.
