I've recently added bent-over rows to my back routine. I spoke with a guy in my gym about his grip. He prefers an underhand, palms facing away grip. However, I have heard an overhand grip, palms facing you is better as it is harder.

I have tried both, and I definately prefer the underhand as it allows me to keep my elbows in and really focus on my lats. On heavier weights I've noticed my elbows flair out a bit with an overhand grip, and I feel more resistance in my biceps.

What do you guys prefer, and does it matter??

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I use an alternated grip and thats very comfortable for me, I tried an overhand grip and I didnt like it, and an underhand grip feels very unnatural so I guess whatevers comfortable for you, im not sure if your grip will make the lift easier or harder though :)

i've found the underhand allows me to lift heavier. For me its more natural. I feel alot of strain in my wrists, forearms, and biceps with an overhand.
