I started messaging this girl I know kinda likes me, but I'm not interested in her. I know every time I do, she gives me attention. I did it just because I was bored. I don't get any satisfaction out of it, and I don't understand how women do. Why does it matter if a guy you have no interest in gives you attention? I never understood that. That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Most Attention Whhores, male or FEMALE, are self-obsessed, narcissistic, emotionally masturbatory, borderline sociopathic, navel-pickers who have absolutely NO regard for the feelings of others.
