"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Hey guys. A big problem of mine is that Im bad at conversation. If there are three people present, and other parties are putting new topics and ideas in a discussion, I can talk for days and Im ****ing hilarious. But one on one, particularly with girls, I have nothing to say! And when I try to think of fun, interesting things to say, I get even more mentally congested and it ends up being an awkward dead silence. What do you guys think would help? Or what do you guys do to aid conversations?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Do the same thing. Find random stuff to talk about, and add in the personal questions.

Really, 1on1, or 1on2 is the easiest to grab ideas from, because you have the focus. Try asking a girl in a group of 10 a personal question, it'll divert off real quick.

not that it's "constructive" advice.... but i'm the same way.

i notice it everyday in chemistry, got a few of my friends, and we're friends with a few of the girls in there.

we'll go to ihop and **** after class, or just shoot the **** in class.. can talk pretty well.

i'm not paralyzed when it comes to one on one conversation, it's just a difference that pisses me off some.

if i get some pointers, i'll post :p

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Forget about what YOU have to say, she doesn't really care anyways.

Rather, ASK QUESTIONS. Make a list of like 30 questions you could ask a girl and memorize it. When the conversation dies, resort to your list and go through it.

I promise you, that by the end of the night she'll find you to be the absoulte greatest conversationalist ever.

there is one big difference between talking one on one and talking in groups

talking one on one=conversation
talking in groups=story telling, debate, joking

the key difference in those things is taht in a conversation, LISTENING is the most important part, where as when you talk in groups, you can just talk about random stuff all day long and it will go on forever, if you talk about random stuff in a one on one conversation, then it will just lead to awkward silence all the time.

this also means that the girl has to cooperate, and if she likes you she will, if she's giving lots of close ended answers, then either she's an idiot or is not interested, next her

conversations should be 80-20 and instead of bombarding her with questions you should think of some interesting topics that you know a lot about and r funny
it makes u look smart and interesting

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
