"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

But it sounds like you're saying having her here would have been the better play because it's more dominant?
In my opinion it doesn't really matter if you're having sex and continue having sex. Don't mess with what works.

Or do you think since I already offered it would look silly to change the location arbitrarily?
That would look silly, better stick to what you've said.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Thanks buddy! Another random question. So I paid for the drinks and apps on our firs date (obviously, I wouldn't ever make a girl pay), and I'll be bringing the food and stuff to cook at her place this Friday. I know a big topic here is all about investment (time, money, attention, etc.). After this date (granted, I'm 99% sure we will have sex again), when should I expect her to start having a financial investment in this, if ever? Since I am not looking to date this girl is is stupid to keep taking her out or making her stuff (MY financial investment) to have sex with her (HER investment). Or should I expect a casual hook up to pay for stuff too?

Why not? What is it really that makes men think like that, ever wondered that?

Or should I expect a casual hook up to pay for stuff too?
Casual, friends, relationship, marriage, family, hookup, man, woman or whatever, I expect others to contribute. Makes no difference to me.

Good advice. Yeah she said she did it for a short time to make some extra cash. She had a NICE place and a lot of Prada. Apparently there is this guy that will still occasionally see her and pay for her food and give her cash JUST TO TALK TO HIM AND LISTEN. She pulled like $1500 cash out of her purse and said he gave it to her like 2 weeks ago for listening to his problems. The dude is like 60. That's wild.
So she’s a sugar baby. But let’s be honest, men don’t pay that kind of money just to “talk”. Unless he is super simp.

Thanks man! And yes thank GOD we have no kids. As soon as there is no other reason I need to have her number (just working out final stuff with divorce and sale of house) I am deleting it and blocking it. Have a great life... lol.
That's what my cousin did with his childless divorce. His ex also moved out of state. I'm not sure he deleted her number but he was glad to not have to talk to her or not randomly ever have to see her around the city where he lives. Since they met through social circle, he heard after the divorce through said social circle that she was going to be in that city one weekend. He was worried that he'd randomly see her in the city that weekend. He didn't.

As soon as the divorce was filed for, he was meeting women through in his social circle. Word got out within the social circle and single women were coming out of the woodwork to try and date him. It was like nothing I'd ever seen before.

I wouldn't let money complicate things. Keep costs down and keep paying for stuff for a little bit if she continues to have sex with you on a regular basis. It's not worth the aggravation to let smaller sums of money get in the way of regular sex with a 20-something ex-stripper.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
