As a general rule when I speak to a woman and she looks everywhere but me I take it as a sign of low interest.

When it happens usually the rest of the body is pointing somewhere else too, no eye contact and short brief answers means move away in my vocabulary.

But, if she generally does not hold eye contact...could be disrepect...

Why is this so? I don't see the correlation with eye contact anxiety and trustworthiness. I could look someone right in their eye and lie to their face, be it a random person on the streets or my own parents. I never do because maintaining a lie is annoying, but it's not hard. I don't see what the issue is.

Can totally confirm and agree with this. Every girl who looks down after looking at you is practically submitting to you and that's beautiful. On the other hand, I guess one has to a bit naive not to understand that when someone looks up or to the side, it is probably "not interested sign". Spot on, @darksprezzatura
