"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

this chick and i have been going out on dates for the past 3 months, just chillin and having fun. i keep it fun and i make fun of her and make her laugh so much. she ALWAYS says this little thing like every 5 minutes non stop so i got her this shirt of what she always says. i thought it was kind of thoughtful i dont know why but i think its alright. so when i give it to her, i want to give her a card and maybe another present that shows a little more meaning than just a shirt. i want to give the idea that i want a relationship with her. i want to ask her to be my gf when i give her the present on xmas. after all, it is xmas and i want to be just a little sweet. could someone help me out

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

i dont think it does seem any AFC becuase the only reason i want to be sweet is because i've talked to all of my girl-friends at school and they said to be as sweet as you can on xmas becuase its important. i honestly dont know why. i'm not sweet to this girl 24/7 because i have a life. i'm just doing it because the majority of girls in my school told me to be sweet to her on this one special day. so i came to you guys for a simple gift that says, "hey i care for you and so on".

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

You guys say it seems AFC, but why? Because he's giving her a gift?

They've been dating for 3 months already. They're in a relationship, just not an exclusive one, and getting her a gift for Christmas, the most commercialized and, let's face it, important holiday in America is totally understandable.

good luck.
