"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

backstory,

been going to this poker room for many years. this asian, cougar showing interest lately i think by always sitting close to me, askinh for my name, age, and now she knows im single because i gave her a hint by saying something like "thats what i would tell my future wife."

she never showed this much interest before. not till after i lost 30lbs almost. or more..

so by now we have rapport, kino, accidental boob rub using my wrist that i purpisely initiated. and she didnt back away..

last night she said to wait for her after our poker session around 1 am. she said she would give me a ride to my car and i took her offer.

anyway, theres alot of details im gona leave out cuz its gona be long..

so...before all this took place, ive checked out her fb profile and says married. which is a big turn off. i tried to get her to say to me she is married at the poker table subtley by saying to her "oh im sure you have a loving husband who is happy for u" and she couldnt answer that with yes or no. and she not wearing any wedding ring.

she never brings up names of other men or "husband" in our convo..

----my diemna----
1. i,dont want to ask her if she is married because id hate to hear her lie..

2.,i dont wamt to mess with any married woman anymorw..

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Stop beating around bushes and over complicating your life with all this indirect sh*t.
Straight up ask her

"I want to date you, are you married or with someone?"

what's the worst that can happen? She tell your poker friends you did what men are suppose to do and asked her on a date? Who gives a f*ck.

Geez..

anyway, i'd like to be her friend still though regardless whether nothing romantic happens. She walked with me around the casino. Great great social proof. Nothing is wasted here.:)

Yeah. You guys need to stop asking for advice and ignoring it. Cola gave you the best advice you're gonna get. The social proof you got from walking with her has nothing to do with the next step you should be taking.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
