No it doesn't. SS has been pretty much thoroughly discredited. Although admittedly a lot of the old SS students are ASF converts. SS is 100% theory, DJ is 75% theory, and ASF is 25% theory. NLP has also pretty much been sidelined, but not as maligned as Ross Jeffries' SS.

Please. It's continually ridiculed on the mASF boards. Old "heavies" like Thundercat have thoroughly undertaken learning ASF skills. Because they used to be in SS, they are familiar with it and can educate someone on it, but it doesn't mean they actively promote, teach, or espouse SS.
I occasionnally use what could be considered SS patterns, and I've seen the transformations that using that speaking style can have on a woman... There is no way that it has been thoroughly discredited, the problem with SS is that you are using canned lines and scripts to evoke emotion in the woman your talking to.

This point is also accurate. The problem is that it's hard to tell how often people actually go out to mack, as FR's are usually pretty dull to read. Regardless, it would be beneficial to promote to our 'students' that the best learning comes from the field.

I've been reading the posts there for years. Why don't YOU read the boards at ASF. People still post patterns and other SS info over there. Read Ross' posts while you are at it.

Yes... people post mainly field reports about how they actually went out and sarged. I don't see any SS there. Lots of canned stuff but no SS. Can you give me links to any FRs where people post about how they used patterns and SS to pick up women?
I don’t even see it that way. Self-improvement consists of three control loops: inner game (what you’re thinking), outer game (your habits), and what you actually perceive yourself as. Incongruency (outer game / how you are acting versus inner game / your insecurities) can really kill a prospective PUA. But by improving your outer game, you get this feedback loop of validation and improvement.
