"But most doctors who prescribe testosterone note that sperm production will bounce right back if you stop. Dr. Joseph Raffaele, an internist by training, has treated hundreds of men in his 25-year-old practice with testosterone, many of them for decades, and says he’s never had a case where a man is producing any less sperm after coming off testosterone therapy than he was before.

“That will all recover, and I’ve had guys get their wives pregnant while on testosterone,” he says. “The idea is to put in the right dose.”

The above was a quote from the article... I wonder what @Jake_Gyllenhaal69 thinks about this. Does this change anything? Probably not... Which articles do we believe jake? I'll take the this one and the accounts of guys actually doing it, than your propaganda articles...

Happy to share my story if it helps other men here on the fence. I've been on TRT for 3 years now. I have been an avid athlete and weight lifter since my early 20s. I noticed I didn't progress or grow like my friends did from training and decided to get my levels checked. I was at like 200ng/dl range should of been 800+. I was also always tired and felt weak.

I had all the other tests done to figure out why I wasn't producing a lot of testosterone. Brain scan for pituitary tumor (causes low T) blood work, etc. Turns out some men just dont have a good signaling system from their pituitary to the balls. I had all the preliminary screenings done prior to make sure my health was OK all around before I started. I do have genetic high blood pressure but thats managed with medication. Took me a LONG ASS time to find a decent doctor who was familiar with TRT. You want a good urologist, family doctors wont prescribe and dont know **** about this.

I take 120mg a week injection (I do them) divided twice a week every 3.5 days. 60mg a dose. 23 gauge needle. I have blood work every 6 months to make sure my hematocrit levels are in range (trt can cause a thickening of red blood cells). My levels are around 1000ng/dl now and I have felt better than I have in my entire life. I was near sucidal when I had low T. Some negatives are you want to **** a LOT. Can get irritatble if you aren't watching how you feel.

TRT can shut off natural sperm production but at my age I don't care, I was told its reversible by coming off and clomid can help with a restart.

Happy to answer and questions about this **** as I had to figure out a lot of it myself.

Sorry, but after a few years on trt most guys would be permanently shut down and infertile.

I recall clomid is being heavily regulated now moreso than ever. And HCG is pretty much banned in the US.

Which means if you're on trt and dont have access to HCG your testicles will atrophy and will most likely never recover.

For guys who've already had kids and dont mind their testicles being the size of peanuts, then I guess this isnt a problem.

Also take into consideration our post-COVID, supply chain disruption world. All raw ingredients for pharmaceuticals comes from China, if your trt clinic cant get you your dose because of lockdowns, you're basically screwed.

I'm glad i decided not to jump on the trt bandwagon that youtube fitness gurus kept promoting because I had a feeling the US gov would ban HCG, and sure enough, HCG has been so heavily restricted that it's essentially banned.

Dunno where you are, I can still get clomid and HCG without a problem. But nearing 40 I have no desire to have more children. I understand for young dudes you may want to run these protocols. My balls are still good size too, but they were big before.

For the guys that are interested in raising their test but aren't ready to hop on TRT, you can increase your test levels with Sildenafil (generic Viagra) because it directly stimulates the testes.

I would gladly move to TRT if it wasnt for two factors.

The first one are the needles which I dont really like but could tolerate, the second one is possibly shortage which would lead people dependant on it very vulnerable.

Also given how dumd society is getting, I wouldnt be suprised to hear woke parties to suggest banning TRT cause it sustains toxic masculinity or some other bs.

What's crazy is if you live right your T levels can be worth 150mg or more of injection. If you had the finest babe or two who was crazy over you, and your in shape and crushing it in life your T levels will be HIGH.

Oh, it's already handled that way, why do you think so many school-aged boys are on Ritalin? Also, Testosterone is a Schedule III of the Controlled Substances Act of 1990.

Estrogen interestingly enough is not. "The Drug Enforcement Administration is designating two pharmaceutical preparations containing esterified estrogens and methyltestosterone as exempt anabolic steroid products under the Controlled Substances Act."

And there ya have it. The minute my serum levels drop below what I consider to be a healthy threshold I'll go on TRT, no questions asked.

Not sure if this helps.

I went through a year of very low sex drive (once a month I felt horny). I also had ED on a couple of occasions - failing in the act. Any man reading this who had this knows the gut renching annoyance this gives to your self esteem.

This was distressing given I was always a rampant pervert before!

i had levels checked and I was always in normal range. I was however, heavily overweight.

I lost the weight and this helped a bit. ED was gone, but still not giving it 3x a week.

Now, what happened next shocked me. I was in a job for 15 years where I did not enjoy the people. I worked remotely but I had a constant battle with 2 employees, and most there I thought were just idiots. I was constantly fending off attacks. Plus I felt held back in my role which was below me.

I took 7 exams and got a much better job.

Now I am in management and the team I work with are super cool and respect me.

My drive increased ten fold. I’ve started being honest with my wife about what I want from sex life (I don’t have dark or gross fantasies thankfully, but she has agreed to fulfil them)

We are literally at it like rabbits now. After 5 years together we are doing it 3-6 times a week (we have kids and a nanny living with us so it’s when we get opportunity basically)

moral of the story is: Test is a funny thing and stress kills it - KILLS IT! Respect and winning expands It like no tomorrow.

if a man is wondering about his test, have a look at your life and ask if you’re happy, aree you stressed. Start driving your life and asking if it’s working for you.

I guarantee that, provided you don’t have a medical problem, you will find that your sex drive and T is linked to whats going on in your normal life.

Now, a lot of the relationship problems with my wife are better. Now I’m showing a real desire for her, she is nagging me less. We are closer.

be ruthless with your life and make it work for you. Have self belief - back yourself.

there’s a reason why women love this personality. You don’t have to be perfect, you don’t even need positive feedback. Just back yourself, believe you can, and the rest of life will be built on that cornerstone.

Im on trt and had to stop for 7 months. It was unplanned and cold Turkey.

My test prior to trt was always in the 600-650 range but super high shbg binding it all up.

On trt I was double that. When I stopped cold Turkey I lost some muscle and had a month of pretty much being lethargic and having almost zero drive. Went from 220/230 lbs lean... to 210-215.... I actually kept my diet much stricter while I was off but still lost strength.

i Jumped back on trt and my blood work after 7 months off was pretty much exactly the same as prior to jumping on trt. So you can recover.... some do not I am sure.

I know someone that did it and is now having heart problems. Personally, I prefer to do things the natural way.

The food/plastics problem is one I've explored a little, though in 2022, my trust level for any scientific study is at an all-time low.
Unlikely that is the cause unless he is taking steroidal doses

In fact T is heart protective when kept within the proper range. Low T is actually far more damaging to the heart...it has T receptors on it.

The needles are really nothing man...I used to pass out when getting blood drawn...and now I inject myself with impunity without issue.

Also highly doubt it will ever run out of supply...very easy to get and manufacture.

Firstly, at a level of 600-650 T has almost zero effect on muscle mass. That only comes into play at super physiological levels.

It DOES have an effect on fat mass, specifically around the abdomen...even going from 300-600 will have a dramatic difference on fat stores especially around the abdominal region.

Bingo. Low T is FAR WORSE than having normal levels.

Problems arise when guys run too much T, and then estradiol is elevated and you have to take an E2 blocker which dialing in can suck. My opinion is less is more.. get your levels around 800 without an E2 blocker if possible. I have low SBGH so I have to inject more frequently.

I have to take Aromasin even when just on TRT because my Estradiol levels get too high...usually just twice a week tho.

One other thing a lot of people don't realize is that some people will develop polythycemia (elevated red blood cell count) and will need to donate blood every 8 weeks to maintain safe hematocrit levels so their blood doesn't become like sludge and cause cardiovascular issues... IMHO in people who are prone to it, this is where the cardiovascular issues arise from, not the actual T itself.

Yea I notice first day or so my E2 is high (always bloated on injection day) , but I really don't want to mess with an E2 blocker. My hematocrit is always sub 48 so I'm lucky there.
