"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Yeah, that expression annoys the fuck outta me.

AFC: You get lucky?

DJ: She got lucky.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Is it Feminine Mystique or is it simply Men's Lust? I mean, all of this mystique or elusiveness is worth sweet bugger all if the woman isn't attractive. An attractive woman can be unpredictable - guys will then say that her mystique is attractive. She can also be totally frank and honest - guys will then say that her innocence is attractive. In either case, guys will think that they'd need to get lucky to be with her.
Understandable, but men's libido will always be a factor. What I'm getting at is how the feminine imperative uses this, and of course the covert/psychological nature of women demands that social contrivances be developed. No woman, regardless of how attractive can overtly say, "I'm going to use my sexuality to make men comply with my wishes, provide for my needs and agree with my thinking." Any woman who'd do so is automatically an overt, grand manipulator who's broken the cardinal rule of the women's fight club - never talk about or directly acknowledge the covert contrivance. Those who do, open themselves up to easy attack in women's sexual competition combat and men who figure the real nature of the contrivance must be marginalized and shamed for even attempting to figure it out.

All that spoken, less attractive women, older women, even your sister will still reinforce the "luck" mindset because it serves the feminine imperative. And that's not to say they're even aware of reinforcing it. That's the beauty of all social contrivances, they're successful when they're autonomous and taken for granted. Carl Jung proposed a long time ago that people have a masculine and feminine side to their personalities. We take this 'theory' for granted now, but this was (and is) just one of hundreds of theories of personality, but his took root in popular culture because because it served as the foundation of a very useful social contrivance. This idea, regardless of merit, is matter-of-fact now due to it continually being covertly reinforced for over half a century now. The same mechanics apply to achieving a woman's intimacy as a prospect of 'luck'.

The weird thing is they will do this with no intention of putting out, like in a work setting. As I said before I'm starting to see just how much guys will act like fools just because a girl is involved, do they really think something is going to happen? And does the girl really intend to actually do something? No,but just being female is enough to get the dude to do anything. Yeah I'm figuring this out late.

Edit--oh yeah and if you catch onto this and stop being one of those guys that responds to cute little girl voices, the girl may have issues with you.

Stupid question of the day: Could someone please explain to me where we got this notion that women have more intrinsic worth than men?
Part of it is the general b.s. of our culture, but part of it is real as well.

Think of it this way: if you kill half the men in a generation, then the remaining men all need to have two wives so you'll have the same number of babies. However, if you kill half the women in a generation your civilization is in trouble because then you can't replace those lost babies.

A situation like this is actually why we remember the Roman Empire and not the Sabine Empire: Roman was running out of women, so they stole the Sabine women. (See Livy, "The rape of the Sabines" for a full account.)

From the brutal point of view of Natuer, women are the valuable sex and men are the disposable sex.

Well there goes my prize mentality.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Physics tells us that all systems tend toward entropy. While the overall universe we live in may be burning out, that doesn't mean there can't be pockets of low-entropy where life exists.

So while the overall picture of Western men may be desolation, that doesn't mean there aren't diamonds laying among the coal.

Hold the course, there may be a high-upfront cost; but it will pay off in the long run.
