Master Don Juan
Yeah, that expression annoys the fuck outta me.
AFC: You get lucky?
DJ: She got lucky.

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
Understandable, but men's libido will always be a factor. What I'm getting at is how the feminine imperative uses this, and of course the covert/psychological nature of women demands that social contrivances be developed. No woman, regardless of how attractive can overtly say, "I'm going to use my sexuality to make men comply with my wishes, provide for my needs and agree with my thinking." Any woman who'd do so is automatically an overt, grand manipulator who's broken the cardinal rule of the women's fight club - never talk about or directly acknowledge the covert contrivance. Those who do, open themselves up to easy attack in women's sexual competition combat and men who figure the real nature of the contrivance must be marginalized and shamed for even attempting to figure it out.Jitterbug said:Is it Feminine Mystique or is it simply Men's Lust? I mean, all of this mystique or elusiveness is worth sweet bugger all if the woman isn't attractive. An attractive woman can be unpredictable - guys will then say that her mystique is attractive. She can also be totally frank and honest - guys will then say that her innocence is attractive. In either case, guys will think that they'd need to get lucky to be with her.
The weird thing is they will do this with no intention of putting out, like in a work setting. As I said before I'm starting to see just how much guys will act like fools just because a girl is involved, do they really think something is going to happen? And does the girl really intend to actually do something? No,but just being female is enough to get the dude to do anything. Yeah I'm figuring this out late.Rollo Tomassi said:No woman, regardless of how attractive can overtly say, "I'm going to use my sexuality to make men comply with my wishes, provide for my needs and agree with my thinking."
Part of it is the general b.s. of our culture, but part of it is real as well.reset said:Stupid question of the day: Could someone please explain to me where we got this notion that women have more intrinsic worth than men?
Well there goes my prize mentality.Luthor Rex said:From the brutal point of view of Natuer, women are the valuable sex and men are the disposable sex.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Physics tells us that all systems tend toward entropy. While the overall universe we live in may be burning out, that doesn't mean there can't be pockets of low-entropy where life exists.reset said:Well there goes my prize mentality.
