Are women smart?

It's quite well-known that men are more logical whereas women are more emotional. But considering raw intellectual power, are women as intelligent as men?

I'm looking for a fact-based discussion, not a vitriolic "herp-derp b!tches are dumb" circle-jerk. For example, what are the differences between average male IQ versus average female IQ. Or you can give your own personal experiences that call to mind their capacity for higher cognitive functions and intelligence Either way, try not trying to spark a misogynistic discussion and keep it objective.

They can be,. but it's all up to the individual. Both men and women can think logically when it comes to technical things and what not. I know some girls that are very logical on non-relationship issues, things that don't involve person to person emotion.

When it comes to relationships, both have feelings, but a man's feelings tend to be more logics based and more stable, whereas a womens feeling's tend to border a psychological issue, and are very unstable.

I've said it before on here. Women are cleaning our clock when it comes to career, family, and even money (depending on if they are single and in an urban area). Among my diverse social circle women are the ones starting businesses, traveling all over the world, balancing career and school and family, etc.

Men may be smarter and I'm sure there are statistics that bore that out. But I'm more concerned with results than potential and right now they are getting results and we aren't.

Misogny isn't healthy, and, of course they are...when it comes to relationships they're pretty damn strategic. They're cunning, clever and precise, in regards to emotional situations though. Females are probably good at other things, but I wouldn't know all of them.

As you said in the OP though, intellectually-wise, I think history speaks for itself. It was Man's brain and brawn that wiped the face of life time and time again, and redfined human life. Every invention every made was pretty much made by a guy....

Rereading FairShake's post I have to think back on the guys I know, and yeah that's pretty damn worrisome.

woman's brain is wired different than man. life-death moment emerges, woman is mostly likely to panic while guy is more likely to stay calm.
