Are condoms supposed to be extremely tight?

I lost my virginity in November. I had unprotected sex with her that time, and multiple times after. I used the pull out method, and never used a condom with her. I'm no longer having sex with her, and I've had sex with this other girl twice in the last month, most recently about an hour ago. I understand how stupid unprotected sex is, so I bought a box of condoms and used them with this chick. They are Trojan Ultra Thins. The problem is, they are EXTREMELY tight, to the point where they slightly hurt. I wasn't even able to *** both times, and had to wack off to porn after she left my dorm. Let me just say that my d1ck isn't huge, its about average length. Is this normal?

The very thin condoms are a tighter fit. But you don't want one too tight that its uncomfortable.

It depends, they're supposed to be tight so that they don't fall off, but not so tight that having sex is no fun. Magnums usually fit pretty well.

the condoms they give free at planned parenthood are way too tight.
