"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Approach went wrong

I’ve been reading this site for a week before it was shut down. I think I’ve learn a lot from here, and this site also gave me enough confidence to approach a girl, which I have never done before until now.

There is this girl that I know from my lab class. She usually wears a head scar, which makes her look really cute. I usually see her two days a week. I started to feel attracted to her 3 weeks into the class. That was when she and I were paired for a lab experiment. Since then, we don’t really talk much. Whenever we meet, she will just stare at me for a couple of seconds and walk away.

A couple of weeks ago I decided to talk to her, which I did. I was so nervous that the thing I said didn’t come out right. I told her that she looks really nice today. She replied, “There is no lab today?!” I said, “I don’t know. I think we do.” She asked me why I am here. I told her I just came from my Golf class. We started to walk and talk about golf after that. I was the one doing all the talking during our golf conversations. She was heading to the girl locker room, and I followed her without even noticing it. I was like, “Where are you going?” She replied with a smile, “The girl’s locker room.” I was a foot away from the door, before I stopped and said something like “What the hell!” We both smiled and look at each other for a couple of seconds. I told her I’ll see her later, and I left.

I don’t care how bad that approach went, but it felt wonderful. Later on that day we went to our lab class, and we didn’t really talk much because we had a final test before spring break. I finished the test early and left, because I had a review session to go to.

Talking about golf is not interesting, so how can you change the subject from golf to something that she can talk about and I will be the one listening?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ask open-ended questions. Not as easy as it sounds I know - practice on some friends.

When apporaching a girl it should be this

opener---->Topic----->conversation

The Opener can be from hello to hey. Also the opener can be a question or even a joke if she gets the joke.

The Topic it can be about anything as long as it not about death, sex ( not all girls who you first talk to want to talk about sex )and other things ( I forgot)

The Conversation make sure you do 75% of listening and show that you are listening. Women will talk and talk as long as you listen. Avoid 2 things, talking way too much about yourself and talking way too much about other people.

Good job man  you are well on your way to becoming a DJ. Getting in the field is 1 of the best ways to become a real DJ don't stop kept apporaching.
