She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.
You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.
The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
whoa! those kazakh girls are HOT! Id love to go to Kazakhstan. Imagine how interesting of a person you'll become if you tell people you've actually been there and its totally different then what was depicted in the "BORAT" movie....imagine how amazed people will be....too bad i just totally dropped out of college today...dont you NEED a bachelors in most countries??meitenesrigas said:WRONG. Follow the scent of the Russian language. The Former Soviet Union packs more beauty than all other places combined. Kazakh and Kyrgyz girls have VERY "Oriental" features, are tall, and have enough Russian blood lines to make them the "hottest asian girls". Interesting enough, most are Muslims. You won't be able to teach them English though. Maybe go and learn Russian.

Oh yeah, MySpace is an Anglophile social networking site. It is not what non-English speaking parts of the world use.

Free-spirited, really? I'd have thought (though I don't know, obviously) that it'd be more conservative.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
yeah, except I doubt most people who do it solely do it for the money, and living/teaching in Japan is generally considered a much better experience than in Korea. I'd also disagree that koreans are considered "friendlier" to foreigners than japanese people are. Japanese people are generally renowned for being very polite and helpful and friendly.canadianmetalhead said:ive looked into this myself. way more koreans speak english and they are aot more friendly to foreigners. they also pay you alot better there than in japan. so...go to korea.
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
do you need a 4 year degree? how is VN? Banged any chicks yet?chuchu said:I've been here in Vietnam for amost 2 months already. I got 8 more days left. If you have a teaching certificate, your salary could get up to about 1500 a month for about 26 hrs in a month. If you are considering Vietnam, apply for the ILA school. After teaching there for a year, you can transfer to RMIT. RMIT is an international college. Vietnamese girls are super cute. A lot of them speaks english.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
