Anybody ever try meetup.com?

Its a site that has different groups that people create and join. Then you meet and do whatever your group is into. It can be about anything, reading books, motorcycle riding, happy hours, alien searching, whatever.

I went to a couple. Its actually a fairly decent way to get out and meet some new people for those of us who want to expand socially. We want to meet new people and try different things but cant find the means perhaps.

Well, I think you're over thinking this. Just go for it, if you want to talk, talk. If not, then don't. Just get out there and don't worry about it.
