"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Looking for advice on this girl I just asked out today.

First of all, I had known her before, she went to my high school. Now, this is going back close to 8 years now. Back then, she was very ordinary, a little chubby, and I was generally not interested in her. However, thinking back on it, I'm pretty sure she was interested in me, because she would call me, even though I never gave out my number to her. But, I wasn't interested back then, so I brushed her off.

Fast forward to today and, HOT DAMN! has she ever changed big time! No longer ordinary, but pretty hot, I'd say around an 8 at least. So I started chatting to her, and at the end, I asked her out for coffee, which she seemed very enthusiastic about going. She told me to call her, but she didn't give out her number, maybe she thought I still had it? I told her I would look it up in the phone book though. Also, she lives with her parents still, if that's any help.

So, how should I play this angle? I know about the 72 hour rule, but I am unsure if I should bother or not because she didn't give out her number.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Shove the 72 hour rule up your a$$

Now, when you see her next, ask her for YOUR number. When she askes you to give her number...well..I'm not thinking..so fill in the blank.

that's what i intend to do, I just found it odd that she didn't exacly give out her number, and I don't really feel comfortable going through the phone book and calling up all the numbers with her last name looking for her, cuz there is more than one. Seems like a chore to me. But she seemed enthusiastic about the whole going for coffee idea, so maybe I will.

I dont understand why u didnt ask for it

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
