I'll get right to it. I can start up a conversation with a guy easy, but when I see a chick, even if I have something in my head to say to open, I won't do it. I don't understand what my problem is. I had 2-3 chances in the gym today to at least say something, and every time I had something simple to say to open. Girl was doing an exercise half-assed near me, I had a simple opener in my head: "That looks waaay to easy for you, I think you need to up the weight if you want to see any results," Then commence kino by "showing" her how to do it correctly. I did nothing, AFC'd out. Girl was cleaning a mat off in the stretching area, I was doing crunches nearby. I could have easily said: "I think you missed a spot right there." Nope, AFC again. There was one other but I think you get the point. I had no trouble at all having a short conversation with a guy I had never met before, though, and talking to a few guys who I already knew. I'm making myself sick just thinking about it.

All I can think that was going through my mind was either nothing. Nothing at all. Or my opener was repeating itself and WANTING to come out, but.. Not...

It sounds to me like you're in a 'sarging' mindset. Instead of worrying about the women in the room and approaching them and all that garbage, go out to have a good time and let the women see that. Once they realize you're a cool guy, you can open with whatever you want and they won't care.
