"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

What's up everybody!
It turns out that HB8 that I tried to get with called me in order to tell me the LJBF test/statement/garbage!

Here's the scoop:

I was on my way home on the bus and she gives me a call:

GIRL: Hey j8snx1, I've been thinking about this for a while, and I really feel uncomfortable about the whole boyfriend/girlfriend thing. I'm looking at the future right now, and I don't know if I want to have a boyfriend yet.

(I scoffed inside my head @ this point, BUT!)

ME: Oh please, we were always friends HB8. It's all good.

***less than 10 seconds of talking for a bit***
ME: Well here's my stop, I gotta run, have a great weekend.

END.

I had a big gut feeling that it was some kind of test that serves as a dealbreaker when it came to just being friends or being BF material, but she did say she felt uncomfortable.

Ironically, the mind is such a damn tricky SOB; I then thought about the whole "make her feel as though she had something to lose," and other possible C&F crap I could've said! I'm kicking myself as I post this up!

I'm going to move on, but I'd like you DJ's to analyze and suggest what I could've done during the conversation!

THANKS!

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

BAH! okay here's the background info:

I started talking to the HB8 3 weeks ago, and it was all fine and dandy with the C&F, kino, etc etc etc. Before the Thanksgiving break, I suggested we hang out over thanksgiving, did the number close, bim badda boom.

I then called her during the break, but her cousin came over so they hung out over the rest of the week, but she suddenly said, "we're JUST hanging out right? Can I bring a friend?"

I had doubts and many DJ's told me she had low IL, so I decided to move on. She then gave me the call today...which brings me back to the thing I just posted.

Could I have done better by making her come after me again OR end on a high note that may make her change her mind?

If not, then what do you guys suggest that I could have done better?

You did what you could. Be nice to her, but don't be good friends if you're uncomfortable.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
