Everybody seems to know my name-at school, library, neighborhood, park and lots of places I go. I walk down the street, people throw me daps and shout out my name. I'm a good basketball player and freestyler and have never lost a battle. Even the cute girls say hi to me and wave and smile. Am I popular/cool?

I dont care if your cool/popular or not. Describe cool and popular. Those two words mean different things to different people. Maybe you are not cool to my standards or where I live in. But you could be "cool" somewhere else.

to answer your question being popular and being well known are two different things, even if everybody knows who you are, it doesnt mean that your popular , just means that people know who you are....
hey a kid in my old shcool got caught jacking off in the girls shower , and everybody knew who he was after that ... didnt make him popular just made him well known....
being popular is like everybody wanting to hang with you , everybody invites you to everything and everybody looks up to you.... if you are all these things them your popular.....

I say don't concern yourself with "Am I popular". Popularity isn't all its cut out to be. You get some weird people wanting to be your friends just because you're a part of the "in" crowd.
