today i was at a soccer competition and in the last match, things became quite rough. i mean, everyone was protestating against the referee and was insultin' the opposite team. a player of the other team bumped into me and made a foul, by grabbin' me and makin' me go to the floor. i was given the ball back by the referee and i didn't say anything to that guy. suddenly he comes to me and starts telling me i'm not playin' fair. i tell him to shut up, since he's hurtin' everyone in my team. he comes closer to me and i come closer to him, confronting each other. he tells me that he's going to kick my @ss whenever i want. i reply "yeah, whatever u say". we keep arguin' for a little, then we both go away from the field. then, a friend of mine who knows that guy to be a trouble-maker, tells me to go away with him, not to be @ss-kicked by him. i tell him that everything's alright and if he wants problems i'm there for him. then that guy calls me into a room and i go there and i tell him that if he wants to fight, i'm ready, although i know he's going to kick my @ss (i'm 130lbs, 5'9, while he's 6'4, 190lbs, maybe more, even though he's 2 years older than me).
then we clarify and everyone goes by his own way, but he's still angry.
i hardly doubt i'm going to have problems with that guy again, but i wanted to know if i behaved the right way... i don't know, it just seems to me that i've been quite a coward since i didn't punch him... tell me what u think
