The policy of no comments in photo threads being changed and the end of the locking and deleting of threads for such stupid reasons. A similar thread being buried on page 6 is no reason to delete or lock a new thread. Page 6 doesn't even show up for most people. And Anything Else should be a lot more lax anyway because it's where off topic conversations go. The current tone of the forum is implying that friendly chat on the forum is unwelcome and that you should only use PMs for that. I firmly believe that is an ignorant position to take because it's that casual chat that gives a sense of community and comraderie. Without that, this is not a "community of users" it's just an information dump. If you take away the human factor of a community and forum it ceases to thrive, stagnates and essentially sucks.
These kinds of policies will be the death of this site and my ranting and pushing on this issue is an attempt to prevent that from happening...in conjunction with me being righteously pi$$ed at being censored.
