Until I discovered the Former Soviet Union I was into French music. Alizee was pretty cool back in the day (6 years ago). She is trying to make a comeback. She looks and sounds terrible these days.
Married and has a kid already. The new album is a joke. Nobody is buying the thing. She began as a lolita type character. She is totally the result of the freak that is Mylene Farmer. Mylene Farmer might be a freak of a woman, but she definitely has some skills. The first two Alizee albums were great. This last one is an absolute bomb though. I can't stand to even listen to it. So...If you wanna buy Alizee go with the first two. Get the int'l. version of the second album if you get the second album at all. It has more songs on it (English versions as well). Probably best to start with the first album though. BTW,
she is not French. She is from Corsica. That is a huge difference to those people.

Lorie! This was her big French rival. Think Debbie Gibson vs. Tiffany. Only thing is there were some fights back in the day between the two fan groups. At one point some Alizee fans were ambushed by Lorie fans before a concert.
